Southbound view at the junction of PTH 101. The roadside memorial is in honor of Crystal Taman, who was killed at this intersection when an off-duty Winnipeg police officer who was allegedly drunk struck her vehicle from behind on February 25, 2005. This became a high-profile case that resulted in a judicial inquiry and the full report is available here.
