RM of Brokenhead Eastbound view approaching Road 41E. At right is the sign indicating that Historic Highway No. 1 turns right at Road 41E. The original routing of PTH 44, then known as PTH 1, followed Road 41E into Beausejour and turned east at Park Avenue/Road 72N, present-day PR 215. In the late 1960s, this road was briefly designated as PTH 4B, corresponding to PTH 4, which this route was known as following the construction of the present-day PTH 1 farther south in the 1950's.
