Another Election to Rig?

May 2, 2025

An interesting item from the City of St. Catharines popped up in my social media feed today. On Monday, October 26, 2026, voters in St. Catharines will head to the polls to elect their municipal and school board representatives, they say. But how you vote is just as important as who you vote for – and that’s where we need your input. The City is exploring different voting options for 2026. We want to know which methods you prefer, how you’ve voted in the past and how we can make voting as accessible, secure and convenient as possible.

We’re reviewing a range of voting methods to better meet the needs of the community, they say. Here’s a quick look at what’s on the table:

  • In-Person Voting: This traditional method allows voters to cast their ballot at a designated polling station on election day or during advance voting days. Polling stations are staffed by trained election officials and typically located at community centers, schools or public buildings. Voters must show identification and mark a paper ballot by hand, which will be processed through a vote tabulator.
  • Online Voting: Online voting allows you to vote securely using a computer, tablet or smartphone during the advance voting period. You would receive a secure access code and vote from anywhere with an internet connection – no need to travel or line up.
  • Vote-by-Mail: With vote-by-mail, an elector would be required to register to receive a vote-by-mail package. You complete your ballot at home and return it by mail or to a drop-off location. This method is helpful for voters who prefer not to vote in person or are unable to do so.

Well, well. They want our input, huh? I’ll bet they do. Or not. No, what they want, as always, is to have us tell them what they want to hear. Anyone who doesn’t support these “different voting options” can go straight to hell. And their timing couldn’t be any more suspicious, coming on the heels of the recent federal “election” that smelled of a third-world banana republic military coup.

Do not be fooled. They don’t want to make it convenient for us. They want us to make it convenient for them to ensure the selection of candidates approved by CUPE and city staff. Seriously, does anyone with half a brain really trust smartphone or mail-in voting? The vote tabulators are bad enough. And naturally, there are no questions in the survey asking if we’d like them removed. That’s not an accident, boys and girls.

They also claim to want to protect the integrity and confidentiality of your vote. No, what CUPE and city staff want is to protect the integrity of their jobs, benefits and pensions. And to push their left-wing agenda with high taxes and Orwellian control over your life. If they had their way, you’d have to apply for a permit to go take a shit.

As you peruse this survey, just remember that all this isn’t for our benefit. It’s for theirs.

The deep state just installed its preferred candidate in the nation’s highest office.

And it wants to do the same right here at home.
