Traded to Toronto Toros for Ken Stephanson, June, 1973.
Steve Cuddie signed with the Jets in the summer of 1972 and the hard hitter was a regular on the Jets' blue line as the Jets advanced to the AVCO Cup final. Following the 1972-1973 season, the Jets traded Cuddie to the Toronto Toros, where he played for two more seasons. Reyn Davis of the Winnipeg Free Press had this to say about Cuddie, “Broke up more love-ins on the ice than a morality squad.”
