Traded to Jets by Quebec Nordiques for Bobby Dollas, December 17, 1987.
The Jets acquired winger Stu Kulak in December 1987 and he made his first appearance with the Jets in 1988-1989. Following three seasons in the Jets' organization, he moved on and spent the rest of his playing career spread across many stops at the minor league level along with one stop in Holland. He retired following the 1999-2000 season. Kulak was originally drafted by the Vancouver Canucks in 1981 and he saw NHL action with the Canucks, Edmonton Oilers, New York Rangers, and the Nordiques before coming to the Jets.
